She is particularly known for her expertise in complex, multijurisdictional patent litigation before the Federal Court of Australia, where she has represented clients from a broad spectrum of industries, including pharmaceuticals, life sciences, biotechnology, mining and construction.
Her impressive track record includes acting in two landmark High Court of Australia decisions: one concerning the scope of patent protection for Myriad’s BRCA1 breast cancer gene patents and another for Sanofi’s leflunomide patent related to treatments for skin disorders and arthritic conditions. Taliadoros has also advised and represented major multinational pharmaceutical companies in matters involving patents for new compounds, biologics, biosimilars, drug formulations, delivery devices, dental technology and innovative treatment methods. Beyond pharmaceuticals, her experience extends to patents for mining tools, deep water drilling technologies and advanced building systems.

Before her legal career, she was a scientist at CSIRO and the Centenary Institute, working on vaccine development and autoimmune disease research. “My approach to my role and my career has always been rooted in passion, focus, and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” he says. “I’ve never been driven solely by profit or business metrics.
