Wendy Evans is a partner in the planning, environment and sustainability group at Holding Redlich. She brings over 25 years of experience in the development industry, first as a town planner and later as a planning and environment lawyer. This interdisciplinary background gives her a unique understanding of the sector.
Wendy's expertise spans planning litigation, statutory and strategic planning, infrastructure planning and agreements and cultural heritage. Her leadership within the industry is reflected in her role as a fellow of the Planning Institute of Australia and her current position as its national vice president.
She has worked within Queensland’s development industry since 1999 and acts for developers, government agencies and resource sector businesses on complex planning and infrastructure matters.
Wendy is a solutions- and outcomes-driven solicitor. She is known for her integrity and sniper-like approach to litigation and legal problem-solving. She has no interest in complicating processes or matters and leads by way of example in this regard.

A significant part of his focus today is staying ahead of regulatory change while maintaining a seamless client experience. He tracks updates from regulators and lenders closely and works with his teams to adjust systems as needed.
“My approach to my role and my career has always been rooted in passion, focus, and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” he says. “I’ve never been driven solely by profit or business metrics.
