“We are now in the process of building a framework for legal staff which will provide a clearer view of the career pathway and factors important for progression in relation to legal roles,” Holding Redlich shares.
Employees also have a direct line to partners, boosting opportunities for career development, exposure and development. In addition, the firm introduced a learning management system that includes a compliance refresher program and CPD training. Staff can also participate in seminars, conferences and specialist accreditation programs related to their roles on Holding Redlich’s dime.
“Graduate lawyers completing practical legal training are eligible for up to 20 days’ leave each year to attend and prepare for courses and examinations. Financial assistance for tertiary education is also available to those who are qualifying for legal practice in Australia,” the firm explains.
It is initiatives like this that have resulted in Holding Redlich recently being certified as a Great Place to Work due to its workplace culture and focus on providing a positive employee experience. The firm also endeavours to champion sustainable practices and involvement in the community.
“We maintain a friendly smaller firm environment as we have grown where people continue to feel connected and supported,” the firm shares.
“While we recognise it’s important to ensure we remain focused on what we need to do to maintain this status now and into the future, it is wonderful to receive recognition that confirms who we are and what is already great about working at Holding Redlich.”
