“My strongest professional quality is my ability to build trust and long-term relationships, whether with clients, colleagues, or stakeholders”

As principal and founder of Infinity Solicitors, Vicky Peng’s deliberate decisions have got her to where she is now. Exposure to complex disputes and cross-border transactions led to the creation of her own boutique practice relatively early in her career.
“By focusing on strategic clarity, risk anticipation and alignment with clients’ commercial objectives, I was able to build credibility quickly with sophisticated clients and senior counsel. Ultimately, reputation is built on consistency and results,” she says.
Vicky gravitated towards complex commercial matters and cross-border work, particularly where legal advice needed to track closely with business realities. Over time, she consciously shaped her path around these strengths, advising overseas investors and emerging businesses as they navigated the Australian market.
Vicky established Infinity Solicitors to deliver commercially focused, forward‑thinking and cost‑effective solutions tailored to global investors and local businesses.
“As a founder, I am responsible not only for complex client matters, but also for the long-term direction, risk management and operational growth of the firm.”
She meets these demands by imposing time discipline, delegating and investing in systems that allow the firm to run efficiently. Now, as a new mother, she is applying that same structured mindset to balancing firm growth with family life, viewing it as an opportunity to lead with greater focus and perspective.
Vicky’s track record already includes leading complex commercial disputes before the Supreme Courts of New South Wales and Victoria for ultra‑high‑net‑worth families and international individuals, securing outcomes that exceed client expectations.
She says, “In these matters, I have led focused and effective legal teams, working closely with junior and senior counsels while managing client expectations throughout lengthy litigation processes that often span several years.”
Vicky also guides overseas investors through strategic structuring and regulatory compliance in niche commercial sectors.
Whether in protracted litigation or intricate cross‑border deals, Vicky begins with the core commercial objective and builds a legal strategy around it. “I also bring composure and discipline to high-pressure matters. For example, leading multi-year Supreme Court disputes and advising overseas investors require careful judgement, structured thinking and consistent communication,” she adds.
Entrusted early with multi‑year disputes involving overseas ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients, she was forced to think as both litigator and strategist. Close collaboration with senior members of the Bar – including highly respected King’s Counsel – sharpened her forensic discipline, preparation and strategic restraint, lessons she now applies across all facets of her practice.
Vicky views her relative inexperience not as a weakness, but as a driver of rigour: a reason to be exceptionally prepared, commercially attuned and results‑focused.
Being named by Australasian Lawyer as a Future Legal Leader 2026 has intensified her commitment to building a boutique practice known for high‑quality commercial litigation, cross‑border capability and long‑term client relationships.
“It has also strengthened my desire to lead by example, particularly as a founder and new mother, demonstrating that strategic rigor, resilience and composure can coexist with entrepreneurial growth,” she says. “Recognition is meaningful, but lasting impact is built through continued excellence and principled leadership.”
