Alice Davis has practiced exclusively in workers’ compensation for over 15 years and is a partner in Gair Legal’s Newcastle Office. She has extensive experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including in NSW, Victoria and the Federal jurisdiction. She regularly appears in the District Court, Supreme Court, Personal Injury Commission and Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Stephen Hodges is an accredited specialist in personal injury law with over 25 years of experience. He manages complex and catastrophic claims across multiple jurisdictions and also maintains an active employment law practice. He acts for scheme agents, self-insurers and specialised insurers in defending workers’ compensation claims, including multi-party disputes and serious workplace accidents. He recently acted in a test case on Section 151Z recovery post-Motor Accidents Injury Act 2017 and successfully defended a Supreme Court administrative review involving Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. A skilled presenter, Hodges regularly conducts seminars, webinars and training sessions for workers’ compensation stakeholders.
