He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tāngata, he tāngata, he tāngata.
McCaw Lewis is recognised as a great firm because of its exceptional people and its long, honourable history in the Waikato region. While the firm prides itself on being a modern law practice, its roots stretch back to 1919, a heritage of which it is immensely proud.
As an authentically bi-cultural firm, McCaw Lewis seamlessly blends tikanga Māori with legal excellence. This commitment is not just spoken; it is lived every day through a strong focus on core values: Manaakitanga, Kotahitanga and Whāia Te Iti Kahurangi – a passion for excellence.
The firm embraces a whānau-first approach in all aspects of its work, fostering work-life harmony and providing the best opportunities for its kaimahi, all within a values-based culture.
Tiana Barker, a rising talent recently promoted to associate, reflects this spirit: “It is nice to be surrounded by people who are not just hardworking and genuine, but fun! We are all united in our commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of our clients, which includes integrating Te Ao Māori into our everyday practice.”
“We continue to see cyber as a key opportunity and will be further developing customer-centric solutions across various geographies and segments in line with our growth aspirations”
