Emma Reilly is the managing partner of Moray & Agnew’s Canberra office and a highly regarded leader in the Australian legal profession. With more than 25 years of experience, she has established an outstanding reputation across insurance, employment, government and dispute resolution matters, advising insurers, employers and government agencies on complex and high-profile legal issues.
Emma’s expertise and leadership have been recognised by leading legal publications and industry directories. She is ranked in Best Lawyers Australia across multiple practice areas. Doyle’s Guide has also recognised her as a leading and preeminent practitioner across professional indemnity, workers’ compensation and public liability. In 2025, she was a finalist for Executive of the Year at the Women in Law Awards.
Alongside her legal practice, Emma is a strong advocate for the advancement of women in the profession. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of legal professionals and creating opportunities for lawyers to develop their skills, progress their careers and step into leadership roles.
She contributes to the community through pro bono work and leadership roles with not-for-profit organisations, including as board chair of Roundabout Canberra, reflecting her commitment to making a meaningful impact beyond the legal profession.
