Brett Sherwin is a senior associate in Barry Nilsson’s Insurance and Health practice. He specialises in property and injury liability insurance, advising on coverage and defence matters for insurers and self-insured clients. He has experience advising on complex public liability claims and general insurance disputes, including multi-party claims.
Sherwin has completed two secondments at a major Australian insurer, spending time working in teams dealing with complex general insurance disputes, commercial property claims, fraud and complex public liability disputes.
In addition to his high case load, Sherwin also dedicates his time to mentoring junior lawyers and graduates. He regularly delivers educational presentations for clients and enjoys looking for innovative ways to further strengthen client relationships.
