Michael O’Connor is a lawyer in the corporate and commercial team at Holding Redlich. His practice focuses on fund management, financial regulation and investment-related activities, particularly for regulated superannuation entities.
Based in Melbourne, Michael has recently acted on several large-scale superannuation successor fund transfers and various investment matters, including drafting and negotiating investment mandates and advising clients on Australian and international investments in private equity, infrastructure and other managed funds.
His work also regularly includes reviewing investment management, custodian, and administration agreements; general commercial contracting; and, more broadly, financial services reform and compliance.
Michael completed his juris doctor in 2020 from the University of Melbourne and was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Victoria.
