Jasmine Daroch is an Associate in the Private Client and Trust team, specialising in commercial and property law, at Cooney Lees Morgan.
After relocating from Auckland to Tauranga in late 2024, she worked tirelessly to rebuild her client base, successfully attracting dozens of new clients to CLM and generating ongoing referral relationships within the Bay of Plenty region by stepping outside her comfort zone to sponsor large community and educational events.
Fluent in Punjabi, Daroch has established strong connections with Tauranga’s Indian community, providing culturally attuned advice on property, business and succession matters and handling significant transactions, including complex rural and commercial deals.
Daroch supports three partners at CLM while managing her own growing portfolio of clients. She is trusted for her judgement and attention to detail, and mentors several junior colleagues. She played a key role in the firm’s 2025 practice management system rollout, testing the system thoroughly and guiding others on how to use it effectively. She also sits on CLM’s AI working group, helping shape the responsible integration of emerging technologies into legal practice.
Committed to excellence every day, Daroch consistently combines legal expertise with a proactive, client-focused approach, making her a valued member of CLM’s team.

A significant part of his focus today is staying ahead of regulatory change while maintaining a seamless client experience. He tracks updates from regulators and lenders closely and works with his teams to adjust systems as needed.
“My approach to my role and my career has always been rooted in passion, focus, and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” he says. “I’ve never been driven solely by profit or business metrics. I believe in hiring great talent, trusting them, and pushing boundaries because innovation doesn’t come from playing it safe.”
