Sarah Wadworth works within Lane Neave’s Family and Employment Law teams and has a broad range of dispute resolution experience. Predominately working with the Wellington office, she is based in Blenheim, Marlborough and assists clients throughout New Zealand.
Her experience has included advising private and corporate clients on all aspects of the law, with her areas of expertise including:
Advising on all matters relating to termination of employment, including misconduct, performance processes, redundancy, medical incapacity, and negotiated exits.
Providing specialist advice and representation in all aspects of personal grievance processes.
Advising on family law issues arising from separation, including relationship property division, marriage dissolution, parenting orders, guardianship matters, and protection orders and related applications under the Family Violence Act 2018.
Drafting and advising on nuptial/contracting out (pre-nup) agreements under the Property (Relationships) Act.
Wadworth has appeared and represented clients in mediations, the Employment Relations Authority, and the Family, District and High Courts on a wide range of claims. She is analytical, thoughtful and committed to achieving the right result for clients in an efficient and effective manner.

A significant part of his focus today is staying ahead of regulatory change while maintaining a seamless client experience. He tracks updates from regulators and lenders closely and works with his teams to adjust systems as needed.
“My approach to my role and my career has always been rooted in passion, focus, and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” he says. “I’ve never been driven solely by profit or business metrics.
