Rosie Hill is a senior associate in the resource management team at Anderson Lloyd’s Queenstown office. She advises clients throughout the country on environmental and resource management-related matters.
Hill has a breadth of experience across all environmental, conservation and resource management areas. In particular, she has specialised skills in advising clients on residential subdivision and development projects, large-scale zoning proposals and freshwater law.
Hill is a skilled strategist, negotiator, advocate and highly valued member of the community. In addition to her growing legal practice, she was elected in 2019 for a three-year term as a trustee of the Central Lakes Trust, the largest philanthropic trust per capita in the southern hemisphere, with responsibilities in managing a diversified asset portfolio and granting funding to charitable organisations.
As a parent of two young children, Hill is dedicated to the community she lives in and focuses on the future.
Hill has a particular skill in providing solution-focused and practical advice to a range of clients. She has personal experience in property development and subdivision in the Otago region. Having lived on a high country deer station for the past seven years, she understands well the issues and opportunities that rural clients face.
Hill is a key senior member in Anderson Lloyd’s Queenstown office, often taking a leading role on strategic files for major clients and applying her governance experiences to practical problem-solving opportunities.
